CASEIB 2021: New edition of the Annual Congress of the Spanish Society of Biomedical Engineering

The XXXIX Annual Congress of the Spanish Society of Biomedical Engineering (CASEIB 2021) will be held online on 25th and 26th of November.

Organized by the Bioengineering and Telemedicine Group of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Spanish Society of Biomedical Engineering (SEIB), in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (FENIN) and the Spanish node of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology in Health (EIT Health Spain), this edition gives the leading role to undergraduate, master and doctoral students of Biomedical Engineering.

Focusing on innovative and market-oriented works, the congress has three competitions for student papers, all of them with a financial award thanks to the collaboration between the organizers:

Under the theme indicated in the motto of the congress, “Biomedical Engineering in the digital transformation of healthcare”, CASEIB2021 has also scheduled various round tables and plenary conferences.

Finally, the configuration of special editions of the journals “Sensors” and “Entropy” with papers submitted to the congress competitions stands out.
